About the Club
The VHRR was established to provide a meeting place for people
interested in the collection, restoration and exercising of
historic racing cars. The club meets bi-monthly and in
association with other clubs provides a calendar of events
for all classes of cars.

Meetings
Lunchtime meetings at the clubrooms Wednesdays starting at 12
noon (except during Christmas holidays). There is a $2
charge to cover the cost of power.
Bi-monthly evening meetings with guest speakers are usually
held at the clubrooms and regular visits to places of
interest to motoring enthusiasts are also a feature of the
club.
Newsletter and Magazine
Members receive a monthly
newsletter with information about club events, and the
quarterly "Oily Rag" magazine. The Oily Rag is
recognised as one of the highest quality club magazines in
Australia. Originating in NSW, it is now shared by the
NSW, Queensland and Victorian historic racing clubs.
Produced in an A4 format on glossy paper it contains
approximately 70 pages of interesting articles, photographs
and comment.
Library
The club has an extensive library of books and period
magazines that members can access.

registered with recognised clubs such as ours.
