of Competition:
Cars with a Competition History
Owners of cars with a competition history that spanned
more than one historic period can choose which period to
represent. The car must be then presented in its
entirety as it was during that period. The only
exception is modern safety equipment (seat belts, roll bars,
etc). Owners must also establish the chain of ownership
with evidence of period competition history through race
programs, original log books, race reports, etc.
Photographs of the car in its historic period are also
required.

Regularity Trials
While competition evens are usually based on outright speed,
regularity trials provides a competition based on consistency of
lap times. Prior to the start each driver nominates a lap
time. During the event the purpose is to lap as closely to
the nominated lap time as possible.
Regularity events are ideal for those who want to enjoy
competitive use of their car but do not want the full "on
the limit" driving experienced in racing. It also has
the advantages of involving less cost in the way of car and
personal safety equipment and a lower level of competition
licence is allowed.
Cars complying with groups J, K, L and S, and also Sports and
Grand Touring vehicles manufactured prior to 1971 are eligible.
