Default Mallala moves from Easter to ANZAC

You may or may not have heard the news that the All Historic Easter at Mallala as of 2015 will be All Historic ANZAC at Mallala. There are many reasons for this.

Easter is becoming more and more a family break for competitors and officials
ANZAC falls nicely between Phillip Island and Winton
Easter Bathurst seriously impacts our Historic Touring and Group S entries
There is regularly a holiday and many companies use this as a convenient RDO
We will not be on the track on ANZAC day until 12 noon, but will be running twilight races on Saturday night
There will be an ANZAC service conducted
AND Easter Bunny was finding it difficult to get around to all the campers

We know it will not suit everyone but we hope it will give a new group of competitors a chance to join in the best picnic race meeting in the country, and enjoy Mallala and HRR of SA hospitality

Default Collingrove?

So just wondering how this will tie into Collingrove as well as the "Adelaide Speed Week" or are they off the cards now?
cheers ted

Sorry about the delay in answering. At this stage there will not be Collingrove or Speed Week in 2015. Our efforts will go into supporting the Vintage Collingrove event held on the October long weekend (first weekend here) and the Adelaide Motorsport Festival which will be a 2 day event this time to be held in October/November. I will find the date and let you know.
