This is a US based Race Car. I'm posting it for a few reasons. The most important reason is my home town is Melbourne, Australia. The second is this car is somewhat unknown a rare. The third, and I hope you agree, I'ts old school and cool looking, so enjoy.
Spec's: 1990 Speedway tube frame (California) Compisite 1998 Pontiac Grand Prix Body (Leighton Reese) 355 c.i. motor (450hp/425tq) Richmond Road Race Trans Winters quick change (4.33) Wide Five Spindles Wilwood 6 piston front and rear 32 gallon cell 2900 lbs full fuel with driver 50.5/49.5 balance Some interesting history. I purchased the car from Mike King, North East Region SCCA. He would periododically road race with Paul Newman (Same region). On Paul's 79 birthday (He always raced his age as his number) he asked Mike to retire his number for the year. First event in 2011 netted us a first place in Concord, NC. Click on my name to see "public profile" and look at "my album" for several current day photo's. Enjoy!
